  1. Highly Educated

Highly Educated, made in the USA since 2010.

  2. Function over hype.

This is the original Control Tower. Keep scrolling to see what each piece does.

  3. Inside the Control Tower

    Three parts, no filler.

A cap, a surface-enhanced pillar and the tower. All of it American quartz.

  4. The joint

    Precision ground, not blasted.

Every joint is a US-made Parbilt fused-quartz joint, ground to the ASTM standard 1:10 taper. Grinding leaves a smooth satin matte instead of a sandblasted texture, so it seals tighter, comes apart cleanly and fits any standard joint. Made in 10 or 14 mm, male or female, at 55° or 90°.

  5. The dish and inlets

    Where the air gets in.

Three inlets at the foot of the tower, 120° apart, enter the bore at a tangent. Consistent height. Each tested and checked for the perfect balance of spin and lift.

  6. The cap

    Heavy, stable, secure.

The Quartz Tower Cap seats on top and forces the inlets to activate on the tower, where the pillar is waiting. Its low center of gravity and mass keep it held safely in place while in use. Its low thermal conductivity keeps the handle from getting hot. Sold separately.

  7. The SE pillar

    The part that spins.

Surface-enhanced quartz, developed with a university nano-fabrication lab. The textured surface is oleophilic and optimized for boiling and evaporation.

    Made here.

Designed and made in the USA. Supplied, sourced, and serviced.

  9. In motion

    Air in. Pillar spinning.

Put on the cap and air comes in through the three inlets at a tangent, twisting up the tower. The SE pillar rides that spin at 2,600 RPM, creating vapor with each pass.

Control Tower or Gavel?

Both are cut from the same US quartz. The difference is how the heat and the airflow move.
